ALL ABOUT NANNIES is proud to bring our nannies and their profiles to you. We have a wonderfully diverse group of women with amazing backgrounds and talents.
TRISHA V. - NANNY
NANNY ESSAY I have been a good nanny already and now that I have completed my training I feel even more qualified to find an awesome family to work for. I like to stay busy and implement curriculum into the children’s schedule as well as social activities. I am very positive and fun and couldn’t imagine not working with children.
AUTUMN J. – NANNY 8 Years Experience
NANNY ESSAY I would make a good nanny now because I made a great nanny in college. I love kids, have tons of energy and love to learn and teach. I have a total of eight years child care experience and have worked at the Child Crisis Center in Mesa. In addition I graduated from Mesa Community College with an Associates Degree in Elementary Education. I now have a 1 year old daughter and understand how precious the bond between parent and child is and how important it is to have someone you trust in watching your child.
KIMBERLEE M. - NANNY/ Sitter
NANNY ESSAY I feel that I would make a good nanny because children are naturally drawn to me. Nearly every child I meet immediately runs up to me and hugs me. It is rather unsettling and extremely endearing. I enjoy the presence of children because they are so innocent and creative. Every child has an incredible mind, capable of coming up with the most brilliant and unique thoughts. I enjoy encouraging this by writing, particularly books and plays. I have often held a story time theater or a puppet show where the children perform for me and then their parents. I play games such as cribbage (a card game that requires a great deal of strategy and counting) to help the children with math skills. I have taught numerous children how to play instruments, how to cook and how to sew. I also greatly encourage sports and physical activity. A healthy child is an active one. I believe in equal treatment, meaning that I treat a child the way I want to be treated. I do not talk down to them, nor do I try and talk over their heads. It would be an insult to their intelligence and because of this I make easy, comfortable friends with the children. They think of me as a playmate, but respect me when it comes to discipline. It’s a fine line, but I believe my experience with children in the past has make it apparent that I should work with children and help encourage them to follow their dreams in the future.
BRITTNEY C. - NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER
NANNY ESSAY I think that I would make a great nanny because I have been doing it for the past eight years and all of my families loved me and were upset to see me go. I like to help out around the house by picking up after the kids, doing the kid’s laundry and making sure that the house is picked up nice and clean for when the parents get home. I like to do these things because the most important thing to do when you come home from work is to spend time with your children. Not worrying about the dishes and the laundry. I am very much into activities, I do everything. I love to swim, dance, sing, play music, make crafts, play soccer, play basketball, football and do cheerleading. I just love to run around and have a good time. I am very out-going, energetic and very talkative. I think that it is very important to have a great relationship with the parent as well as the child. I would like to say if you pick me to be your nanny you will be not only getting a great nanny but a great friend, too.
JORDAN H. - NANNY
NANNY ESSAY I feel I have been blessed with patience and a caring personality. I know that I am a good nanny because I like to keep the children involved in activities such as crafts. Including bits of math or spelling into those activities makes learning so much fun that they don’t even realize they are learning. With the older children I love to help with tutoring or with practicing their sports. If I don’t know it I will learn it! Helping with cooking, cleaning, running errands or with homework are just some of the ways I can help a household run smoother.
JUNE C. - NANNY/Newborn Care Specialist
NANNY ESSAY I feel as though I would make a good nanny because I truly enjoy working with children. I am fun, loving and outgoing. I enjoy having fun and at times act like a kid, also. My special skills would be my ability to sleep train a child and I can speak Spanish. I teach karate to a class of 3 year olds once a week. The activities I like to do with children are swimming, painting, drawing, going for walks, reading and much more! My personality is outgoing and calm. I have a great sense of humor.
PAMELA M. - NANNY/Governess/Household Manager
NANNY ESSAY I have a deep seated commitment to all my children. Desire to provide, which enables each child to become: competent, confident, curious, attentive, exploring, cooperative, secure, peaceful, focused, self-initiative, resourceful, involved, cheerful, aware, interested and inner-directed. My years of experience include training at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Resources for Infant Educators training, and continuing quest of knowledge in child development. My greatest skill is to treat each child as an individual, learn their personality and the best methods to inspire their growth and development.
